Gateway Farm is a Christian children's home that exists for the purpose of restoring hope and providing healing to disadvantaged children.

We offer a stable, loving environment, so that our children can have the opportunity to reach their God-given potential.

Our 55-acre campus is located in the heart of Bowie County, Texas. Boys and girls ranging in age from 5 to 18 share one of three homes with 5 other residents and a houseparent.

In these family units, each child is taught the importance of his or her contribution to the success of every member of their home.

Our professional staff develop individualized programs to address the specific needs of each child enrolled at Gateway.  

 Our children are enrolled in the Simms Independent School District.  Simms is a recognized district offering excellent academic and extra curricular activities.

We also offer children recreational activities, such as fishing in our stocked ponds or going to our recreation center where our children can watch the big screen TV or play games such as ping pong, Foosball, air hockey and pool. To help our children stay fit, there are outdoor activities such as basketball, skateboarding, baseball, bike riding or they can use the exercise room equipped with weight machines and a tread mill.

At the heart of all that we do, is developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The spiritual growth of each child is nurtured through daily devotionals, daily chapel and prayer. In addition, children attend church on Sundays with their Gateway Family.
