CHRISTIAN AMBASSADORS AT GATEWAY FARM

God is good, all the time!

We are in a season of change in the ministry of Christian Ambassadors in general and at Gateway Farm specifically.  Trudy and I believe those events are part of the change in season and God’s plan for Christian Ambassadors.

Let me say here; Christian Ambassadors is not ceasing to minister and Gateway Farm is not closing down.  But there is a change coming.

Part of that change is the redefining of our ministry plan.  We believe that the Lord is moving us into a ministry in accordance with His original call to us.

The first part of that call was that we would take the cast away to raise them up as a light force to release back into the public schools.  We have ministered to these for the past seven years and have now this year returned them to the public school campus.

They are being dispersed into different regions, onto different public school campuses, of God’s Kingdom.  They are well seeded with the light of His love, His grace and His peace and will sow into the lives of those they encounter.  Generations will be changed for Christ.

The second part of that vision was that we would minister to the drug addict.

In keeping with this vision then we are moving our focus from the children (castaways) to young men 18-22 years of age who find themselves in bondage to addictions.  For some their addictions have led to an open rebellion against all authority and this of course has caused them to run afoul of the law.

We plan to focus our efforts on those who have some spiritual base, i.e. a family who believes, and lives in obedience to the Lord. They must also have a genuine desire for spiritual regeneration and a new chance at life.

These young ones will have the support and encouragement needed to nurture this new life into one of service and discipleship.   They will become the leaders who encourage and help move the next group from the bondage of Satan into the freedom of the Lord.

We have entered into an agreement with Breaking Free Ministries (www.bfinc.org) to cooperatively implement this ministry at Gateway Farm.  The young men chosen will be accepted without consideration of any ability to pay and we will not accept funds from the government.

We will also renew our original call to minister to women the truth that they are created in the image and likeness of God with a commission to serve the Lord in the home and in the Gates. And to men declaring the truths that maleness is a matter of birth but manhood is a matter of choice and that manhood and Christlikeness are synonymous.

We will seek to establish houses of prayer, to teach spiritual growth and to hold seminars and marriage retreats.  God has much for us to do and we are running to do it.  Follow our progress on Facebook.

Of course there will be expenses and we need your continued support of Christian Ambassadors.  But in your giving remember this; the real cost will be born by the dark kingdom as the captives are led into freedom where they can then lead others into freedom.  It is the Kingdom then that will benefit the profit.

Pray for us.

Ken and Trudy
